How it works.
From your pledge to their seat.
Capacity is reserved before the cohort fills
A substantial portion of each cohort—often on the order of a third—is held back from open tuition and reserved for sponsored learners. Your support funds real seats, not leftovers when enrollments are slow.
You pledge with clarity; we follow up promptly
Choose a tier and cohort, submit the form, and we reply within one business day with next steps and payment options. Nothing is due until you have reviewed the details and confirmed.
The same program, the same standard
Sponsored learners are admitted to the identical cohort and curriculum as paying peers. There is no separate track—only the same instruction, expectations, and dignity of a full seat.
You are notified when your seat is placed
We confirm when a learner enrolls against your sponsorship. Introductions are optional and mutual; many sponsors choose to remain anonymous, and we treat that preference as the default unless you say otherwise.
Due diligence.
Answers you should have upfront.
Is my sponsorship tax-deductible?
Not under current structure. Pledges are made to Knowittoo's commercial operating entities, which are not U.S. public charities. We are planning a qualified charitable vehicle; when that is operational, we will publish explicit guidance for donors who require a deduction. Until then, treat sponsorship as a business or personal payment against tuition for another party—not a charitable contribution for tax purposes.
Can I designate a specific individual?
You may note an applicant who has already applied, in the pledge form. Sponsorship capitalizes a seat; it does not waive or replace admissions. Every learner—paying or sponsored—is evaluated against the same criteria. We do not accept "nominate anyone" requests that bypass that process.
When am I obligated to pay?
The online form records a pledge only—no charge is initiated. A founder will respond within one business day (typically sooner) with payment instructions, timing, and any items we need from your side. You may withdraw at any time before payment is completed, without penalty.
What happens if sponsored seats are not filled in a cohort?
Capital is applied to the next eligible placement. Your contribution is not held indefinitely without a learner. In the rare case that we cannot place funds over an extended period despite good-faith effort, we will return them—we have not yet encountered that situation.
Recognition, anonymity, and contact with the learner
You select recognition in the form: anonymous, named in cohort materials, or co-branded at appropriate tiers. Any introduction to the learner you supported occurs only when both parties opt in. We default to honoring anonymity unless you request otherwise.
Corporate, foundation, or institutional sponsorship
Yes. Indicate organization type in the pledge, and include billing requirements in the notes. We accommodate purchase orders, invoices, wire transfers, and tailored recognition language. For cohort-partner level commitments, we will align agreement wording with your procurement and communications teams as needed.
